1991 240 w/out A/C can I add it? (are there upgrades?) 200

OK everybody, I have another crazy idea. My European spec 1991 240 wagon has no factory A/C. Has anybody here ever added AC to a car that didn't originally have it? Anybody got any ideas what I would need.

I am experienced with A/C work, I just need to figure out all the parts to pick up at the bone yard. Anyone know what years might be compatible?

Here's what I think I'll need:
Compressor
Compressor bracket
belt
hoses
accumulator/dryer (I'll pick up a new one)
condenser (maybe some mounting hardware)
evaporator
airbox and associated mounting hardware
ductwork (is this different?)
center console controls
vacuum lines
expansion valve?

I just checked the autozone site, and it looks like newer 240s have an orifice tube instead of an expansion valve. Anybody know if either will fit, or do I need to pull the system from a newer car.

If I am crazy enough to try this, is there anything I can do to make the A/C work better? Maybe there is a larger evaporator core or some way to move more air? (Air flow on the 240s has always been dismal in my opinion)

Keep in mind I would need it to look stock to pass the inspections over here.

I've uploaded a picture that shows the style of heater controls that are currently present.
