flushing oil milkshake after blown headgasket 700

i recently picked up a 740 turbo wagon with a blown headgasket. the previous owner said the car started smoking like crazy while being driven and was taken to a local indie volvo shop and they diagnosed a blown headgasket. i don't think the car was driven very long with the coolant in the oil and I also don't think it over heated.when i got the car the oil was a milkshake mess. i've drained the oil and coolant and have the head off. what is the best way to get rid of any leftover mixed coolant/oil? i was thinking of just getting everything put back together and then pouring a gallon or two or diesel fuel through the engine before filling it with new oil. then i will most likely do a quick oil or change or two. what do you guys think?
