Wiper problem 200 1989

So, after changing a front wiper motor the Intermittent function no longer works. I have even changed the wiper switch, to no avail. The wiper motor was bought from eBay and the grounding strap had to be replaced because it was broken off. Now, there's no intermittent on the up-swing. It's not a huge problem, but annoying. Any ideas on why?
