Wiper motor has a mind of its own on inttermittent only setting 200 1988

Starts off ok then will stop pregessively stop farther away from the home position. .Low and high settings work fine and will stop correctly all the time. Only when using intermittent or wash cycle will it stop wherever it wants too. There is supposed to be an intermittent relay over the drivers side feet but I cannot locate it? It looks like the fuel pump relay in size. Any help would be appreciated.
