91 740 and 85 240! 700 1991

So glad to have been told about this forum! I hope one day I can answer a question for another member! I would like to know where are the low pressure AC filling connections on each of these cars! I know low pressure is the smaller hose,but have a little self-doubt. They both have original compressors. On the 91 740 Is it the screwed connection on the back of the canister that is on the left side adjacent to the coil?
May I refill Freon 12 into the canister with the little viewing window on the 85 240? Sincere thanks to All! Jeff
