Could someone explain the horn setup on these older 1800's? If I understand this correctly, there were loud and quiet horns, or was there one horn with two settings? And, was there a stalk on the steering column for switching between the two?
My car came with no switch on the right side of the column, though I see where one once resided, and the OD is operated by a toggle switch under the dash. I have one Hella horn mounted on the right side of the front firewall which works now, after considerable fussing.
I love the idea of a "polite" horn.
