the terminals are clean on the battery the problem is that when you turn the key to the ignition the dash lights do not come on ,I took out the red wire from the alt and grounded it but my test light would not come on. A little later and restarted the a few lights came on check engine and the bulb warning light as well as the e brake light ,the funny thing is that even with the ebrake on it was not illuminated in the dash. so now that some of the lights were working I treid the teast light again and there was power there. and when I took the red wire out and grounded againest the alt all the dash lightscame on .Of course an hour later they were not working again. What I am thinking is a possible igniton switch any ideas thanks Peter the car will start and run no problem
