I was sitting at a stoplight when my 1991 to 240 stopped running. Luckily I was right next to a gas station so I pushed the car in the parking lot. All attempts to target car failed so I called AAA and the car was towed to my house. Initially I thought the problem was fuel related but following suggestions in the archives I found that both fuel pumps were good and significant fuel pressure was present in the fuel rack. I started to check spark and I found a good spark from the coil to the distributor but then found spark at only one of spark plugs. I removed the distributor cap and crank the motor and noticed that the rotor did not turn. Additionally I loosened the connectors on the top of the cover over the timing belt and noticed that timing belt and cam gear did not turn. From the archives that I have viewed it appears that do timing belt failed. What I am looking for now is confirmation from others that the problem is indeed a sale timing belt. Additionally I would like some input on how difficult the job it is to replace the timing belt. I have been maintaining a number of 240s over the years but have yet to do timing belt. Any responses would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
