my shade tree mechanic--and yours? 200 1989

What about your “shade tree” mechanic-if you have one?

Ok-here’s my experience with my shade tree mechanic-Dave, “senior citizen” age-tons of energy, great service-honest, dependable, knows Volvos inside and out mechanically, esp. 200 series, not so much the newer ones. I actually feel he tends to undercharge his services at times, in my experience, but he is just that way. He truly cares that he does his best to make his customers happy. His basic charge is $35 and hour, but I’ve seen him give a quote and work on a project far over what he quoted but he stays to that quote unless of course there is a real honest and good reason he needs to charge a little more, but he will consult with you first. All around decent guy tho I don’t know him in his private personal life. He will go out of his way to make his customers content with his work. I would also say he is just as honest and reliable with his female customers, and you know what I mean by saying that. The ol' brick is happy also, I am sure of that!

OK, I could go on and on----next?
