Is it possible to have trapped air in steering rack after changing rack and high pressure hose. 200

Its hard to steer left when cold, and the pump whines. Whereas the pump didnt whine before I changed the rack, nor did I have a problem steering left when cold. Yes I went through the bleeding procedure(twice), just not sure if I did it correctly. Id appreciate if someone had an answer for this. Thanks.
