Hello All,
I haven't checked in for some time but need your help.
My main question is that in my 240dl, the #4 fuse is 'hot' all the time, meaning when I pull the fuse I still have continuity. The car has been stalling on/off for at least six months but has gotten worse to the point where it happens just about every time I drive the car now.
Replaced fuel pump relay with new but that causes car to stall out, die, and not restart.
I dropped the tank yesterday, in-tank fuel pump looks pretty clean, also made 'sound' when key turned on prior to dropping the tank (by listening at the fuel door).
My biggest concern is the electrical issue. I lost cruise control some time back, which relates to the same circuit on the red-yellow wire that connects the O2 sensor, fuel pumps, etc. Could this be linked?
Thoughts appreciated.
cheers->
