Hi All-
My 1992 745T has been on the road for 18 years now and 295,958K on it. After all this time, the windshield has more than it's share of dings, pits, and pock marks. There are no stars or cracks. It just looks like it has been mildly sand blasted. Does anyone know of any way to polish out these pits and dings? I do not want to replace the windshield, just make it look a bit newer. When the sun is low and glaring off the windshield, the view is becoming poor. I was thinking of a pneumatic buffing wheel and some kind of buffing compound, but I do not know if this would be effective on the glass. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
