My '93 240 has been giving me a slight delay (~1 second) between turning the key and cranking the engine. In between turning the key I hear a moment of silence, the fuel pump relay clicks, a further pause, then the thing cranks up.
At first I was blaming it on the super hot weather. Lately I've been blaming it on the rain.
Is there a fading contact somewhere (neutral safety switch?) or is this indicative of a more urgent problem? The worst part is that it doesn't happen with any noticeable regularity (not just hot, not just cold etc...).
