Installed new driver's seat cushion and worth it 700

I installed a used, excellent condition seat cushion this weekend and
my driver's seat is like new now. Donor seat cushion came from a passenger seat of same year, tan leather, rarely sat on. Whole operation, took about 2.5 hours. This is a simple operation and well worth it, if your driver's seat is shot and cover is torn or starting to tear. Check the passenger seats of cars at the salvage yard for a good replacement. Remove a few pieces of plastic seat trim, four seat bolts, snip heater wires (heater elements cause the leather to dry out and rot prematurely), unbolt seat belt reel, lift seat out as one unit, cushion removal by removing two hooks (easy), two tension rods (easy) and two clips (easy). Definitely beats having seat reupholstered by a shop, and the material matches exactly.
