I haven't posted in several years, since selling my 164 (sixpot), but I check the posts almost everyday and so far someone seems to have the same problem as me at the same time. Thanks for all the help. Now to the latest: I've fought with those rear brake circuits on several of my cars but now I have a weird problem on my '90-240. My bulb out light comes on when applying the brakes and also when running lights are on. All lights are working and I did all the usual tricks including putting in new bulbs and running an individual wire to the left side brake connector tab which for some reason always seems to be my problem. While messing with it and finally getting some help with the pedal, I noticed the left brake light seems to be somehow working in reverse. It's quite bright when running lights on and dims when brake applied, opposite of the other side. I'm stumped as it just happened one day with no changes and I have been wondering if the bulb out relay could have somehow caused this reverse on one side. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I searched the FAQ's first but nothing described my problem. Thanking you in advance for your advice and the assistance that I glean from your postings.
