Anyone tried Bar's Rear main seal repair? 200 1988

Greetings

Oscar is leaking. I suspect oil pan gasket or rear crank seal neither of which I feel like dealing with right now. When I was buying oil the other day I saw an adetive called Bar's Rear main seal repair. Anyone tried this or similar product? Also the oil pan gasket is probably the original one, can I still just try tighten the bolts a little or would that just make the problem worse, I don't know if they get brittle.
