Has anyone installed a fan on a 940?

I can't believe that Volvo didn't put a fan blade on the water pump flange similiar to all the previous models for 50 years. Has anyone attempted to install a 240 fan blade or any other that fits on a 940?
I don't want to replace another head gasket and deal with a warped head.
