Need help please on this one. Problem is my automatic shift indicator light and air flow direction push buttons will light in the park light position, but won't illuminate in the full clockwise headlight setting.

This may or may not be related; the license plate lights don't illuminate despite new bulbs, clean contacts, good fuse 15 with the other light on the circuit working. Multimeter indicates .5 units(volts, watts?). Visual inspection, as far as I could see looked normal.

The only unknown is I had an audio installer put in an adapter harness a few months back. First night out I looked down at the console and it was black. I bring it back in to Best Buy and said WTF? After a long wait he said it's nothing we did, "it all looks good". After that I pulled the panel out, replaced all the bulbs/fuses and was unable to find any lose wires.

Sorry for the multiple problems in a single post, but I'm struggling with all these electical problems at once. BTW the car is a 245 and I'm a novice, but I understand a little more than the basics. Thank you for your time.
