Must I disconnect the lines at the rear calipers when changing pads and rotors? 200 1993

Hello.

I'm gearing up to do the brakes in the rear. Bentley says I need to unhook the caliper and bleed the brakes if I'm replacing the pads and rotors in the rear, but can I just hang the calipers up like I did with the front and avoid disconnecting them?

I'm a learning-by-doing type, so the manual is helpful as a guide, but until I get in it all seems a little foreboding. I've never bled brakes (didn't with the front) and it's our only car. I'm assuming I'll mess it up-- I almost always have a bad go the first time out, and I can't have it out of commission too long. There's just places that bike can't take me.

So. Any of you just hang the caliper up like one does in the front? Is that not kosher for a specific reason?

Thankee kindly in advance and have a great weekend.
