Hi All
Still trying to solve my brake issues. RightFrnt caliper not applying nearly as much pressure as Drivers frnt. Pulls hard left on braking and drivers side gets hot(of course). New rubber line to caliper. Last night I removed caliper but left the line attached. Put a piece of 2x4 inside caliper. Attached power bleeder and pumped to 10 psi. Piston didnt budge. Had wife start car and told her to hit brakes 2x. She did and the piston barely budged.
Perplexed I told her to keep pumping. Damn thing took 10 or 15 pumps to get it to move the first centimeter then it very slowly went the next 2 centimeters to meet the wood. It did seem to bite nicely into the wood once extended the 3 centimeters or so. But I have had other pistons that would fully extend just under the 10 psi pressure of my Motive Power bleeder!!! WTF? A second bad one?
Thoughts?
Matt
PS I cracked the bleeder while pushing piston back in bore(with power bleeder attached) and the fluid gushed out real heavy stream. It doesnt gush with nearly as much volume with piston fully retracted...is that normal?
