Coolant leak into Manual Transmission, Slippy Clutch 200 1986

what's up brickboarders.
i recently discovered a coolant leak where the heater hoses hit the firewall. i replaced the lines (p.i.t.a. to get under the intake manifold) and voila! no more leak.
however, my clutch is slipping pretty bad. it has been for about two weeks, but i just assumed it was burning out, and that i could wait another bit before replacing it. i now assume that coolant has been leaking into the bellhousing and contaminating my tranny fluid.
in the wise and broad experience of you guys, do you think a flush is enough, or am i screwed? do you think i need a new tranny? do you have any other advice for me? i'll be out of town this weekend, but i'll need to work on it monday when i get back, i don't want to burn out my tranny.
thanks guys.
jonathan
