Intermediate shaft question - timing belt

Getting the alignment right between the gears, so - the mark on the intermediate shaft - easy to line with the mark, no prob ....BUT, what if I have turned that shaft/gear, say 360 degrees from where it was.

The distributor is on the back of the head, so I am thinking it matters not here. Am I right?
