Frozen compressor/power steering 200 1991

Can anybody give me step by step instructions for connecting the power steering belt directly to the crank? My compressor is frozen so AC and power steering belt was disconnected. Someone told me the power steering belt could be connected directly to the crank but I don't fully understand how to do it. This is just a temporary solution until I can get the compressor replaced. I am new to any kind of car repair so I won't be offended if you talk to me like an idiot. Simple instructions for a simple mind.
