Heater motor question again.... 200

The last time I disassembled a heater was early '90's. So....advice in FAQs about drilling holes in heater plenum, shining in light, squirting oil at motor and or imaginary bushes, is not the way to go?

Even if the motor is laying on a bench, does it still have to be disassebled to oil the bushes? So lubing a motor in the plenum is, shall we say, change we can hope for? Hope being disappointment delayed?
