What's wrong with my Transmission/OD? 200 1985

I'm going to try this again, but this time with more details and hopefully clearer.

I have a 1985 245, with a M46 transmission.

1.OD stopped working. Sometimes it's been inconsistent, but usually it starts up after a while. This time, it wouldn't. It still clicks when the key is in the ignition and the car is in 4th gear, but the car isn't on.

2.As I was driving down I-5 a while ago, there was a vibration in the gear-shift when I would go into 3rd gear. If I took my foot off the gas and the clutch, that’s when it would vibrate. It started to do vibration a little when I would go into 2nd (under the same circumstances. No gas, foot off the clutch).

3.When I would accelerate, it was like the car had a delay. The engine would rev, and then engage into gear (this is why I'm thinking it's a clutch issue).

4.Because of these issues, I decided to take my car to IPD to have them look at it. And as I backed out of my driveway (I live on a hill) I shifted into reverse to back up the hill to get completely out of the driveway. When I do that, the engine revs and the gears whirr, but there’s little movement. It sounded like and felt like it does when you don’t fully engage the clutch.

5.When on a flat surface, reverse works decently. If I leave the clutch about halfway in, it works decently. 1st works fine still.

6.I checked the clutch cable, and it was a little loose, but did not seem to be out of specs. There is no clutch lever spring.

7.The car works fine in 1st gear. If I start from a dead stop in 2nd gear, the car stalls.
