Hey guys,
I was able to snag the last two Beck/Arnley Premium Rotors on Closeout at rockauto as I had heard about the deal on this forum, but I have some doubts. I received them in the mail, they came in identical boxes, both saying made in Italy, yet there are some differences between the two. First off, one of them has a section on the vents machined out, about an 1/8th to 1/4 inch while the other does not. This machined section is only on a small portion of the circumference, so I believe it may be for balancing. Second, none of the markings on the edge of the rotors match, not even the minimum thickness. Also, there is a 200g weight difference between the two. Granted 200g over 5kg is not a huge amount, but I'm worried about putting two different rotors on the car. Appearance wise, they're practically identical, minus some machining differences. Does anyone have an opinion in general, or even better, did anyone else who bought these rotors notice anything similar? Thanks for the help.
