in-tank fuel pump interchangeable on 240?

Good evening folks,

I do see that there are in-tank fuel pumps for the 1983 240's and
then there are in-tank fuel pumps for 1984-1993 240's.

Can I put a 84-93 in-tank pump into a 1983 240?
