Frame and body panels 1800 1973

Does anyone have an opinion on repair vs replace.
Also on a supplier for frame pieces and a body panel or two.

Is it best to replace an entire front clip or repair the one I have. I do not want to use bondo if possible. i would weld in new steel. I have heard welding in a new full panel is difficult to align properly.
I have some nastiness around the headlights. I am no bodyman but i could see fabrication of that piece being very difficult.
I also need some of the usual frame pieces like jacking points, crossmembers etc.

I am not trying to build a trailer queen but i wouldn't mind a decent, safe body.
Any input would be appreciated
