Hi,

I am testing out my compressor before I invest time, energy, and money into rehabbing my A/C system. I attempted to get the compressor clutch to engage by turning the ignition to KPII and jumpering the low pressure switch on the receiver-dryer. I heard nothing. I can still rotate the compressor by hand, and the clutch is not engaged. Was this a correct diagnostic?
