OK, to the rear fold-down (large) seat in the wife's '95 945T-first! The damn thing flipped foraward (apparently not locked in "upright" position) under hard braking. Seat belt stuck in "retracted" position, thus keeping seat from raising again. I did my quick fix again-took seatback out, spun until it was upright (by flipping it and lowering it into footwell), pulled out center belt and reinstalled it. AGAIN, has anybody fixed this? The mechanism that locks the seatbelt when the car is other than upright is obviously NOT being bypassed. Now-the next part. I had moved the driver's seat far foraward to allow better access and to allow "flipping" the rear seatback. When I wanted to run it backward, the right track was not moving! Looked up the good ol' Brickboard FAQs and the key phrase is "push on the cable to allow it to engage the gear" (or some words to that effect)-did this and got the driver's seat back into position! Yee-haa!! Will not move the seat that crazy forward again-do not want to pull it and go through the crap with the 1/4"nail!
sredwine still love my faithful '94 940T (225K ); the wife's '95 945T has not been as good at 193K!
