I need your help. I am replacing the ac compressor belt on my '81 245. I understand that the "correct" way to do this work is to loosen up the compressor... Is there any other way to tackle this job besides messing with the compressor? I hope there are some other, better, or easier way. I have already damaged one new belt while trying to install the belt via cranking the pulley... I hope you guys have some other tricks!!! Any thing would help. Happy Holiday!!
