Complete removal of the intake manifold 200 1989

Hello,

I don't just want to replace my intake manifold gasket, I want to pull the whole sucker out and scrub its insides clean. Obviously I disconnect all the bolts and the air hose and/or throttle body. But I have no clue when it comes to the fuel delivery system. Can I disconnect the fuel line from the fuel rail? What is the best way to completely disconnect everything so I can pull the whole thing out?

Yes, I am also planning to change my coolant temp sensor, temp gauge sensor and heater hoses, as well as cleaning out the oil trap "while I am in there" (already did the IAC and TB). Also, I have a new original style heater control valve from IPD, but I am confused as to exactly where that is located. Is that what sticks through the firewall that the heater hoses connect to, or are there other hoses inside the cabin that run from the firewall to the control valve?

Thanks!

Ryan
