Blew out a piston due to preignition inaudable detonation at higher RPM's. Bummer. Thats what an inappropriate advance will do. Need one piston (size to be determined when i pull the piston) and was curious what would be a good distributer upgrade/option. Not opposed to mechanical advance. just want to be certain springs are available for it.

sorry i have disappeared from the board, no internet availability for awhile, and lots of miles on the volvo.
