I have a 1993 Volvo 940 which has been running very smoothly. This morning, the engine turned over but would not start. At lunch time, I tried several times to start the car and it suddenly started and ran smoothly. I then drove it about 100 yards and the engine suddenly stopped and all dashboard lights illuminated. I could not get the car to restart... I am thinking that it may be one of three things: (a) the fuel pump, (b) the central processing control, or simply (c) the fuel pump relay. Has anyone experienced similar symptoms? If it is the fuel pump relay, could someone tell me where I can locate the relay on the 940?
Many thanks for any assistance!!!
