All,

I've never done it and finally found a reason. I'll be making a trip from Buffalo NY to Monterey California. Planes are faster and cheaper but I just want to do it this one time in my old car before I'm too old to enjoy it. I have friends in St. Louis and Phoenix so I'll take a southern route out there and my return could take me north through Montana, Minn, Wisconsin. Yes, I'll be taking the 444. What insights or advise does anyone have (please don't start with "You're crazy!")about the trip. The car is reliable and updated with new parts. So, what pearls of advise can you share?
