Hi folks,
In an effort to put off a heater core job, I am considering doing something silly. Please tell me if this is possible.
I want to temporarily disconnect my heater hoses and circulate stopleak only in the core itself, leaving it in there long enough so that it does not get into other parts of my engine while it settles. I would then circulate plain coolant or distilled water to get the residuals out.
My core leak is so small, and no longer scary (I had a defective low pressure cap from FCP, made the core mist the windows), so I would like to give this a try. Is it possible to selectively stopleak parts of the cooling system like this?
Thanks!
Ari
