I recently placed an order to FCP Groton and one of the things I ordered was a Turbo Fuel Pump Check Valve. Now that I've examined the turbos Fuel Pump and the Bentley manual, it seems like this part is not for the turbo. The Bentley says this part is not necessary for the turbo models and I don't see it at the output side of my fuel pump like on a N/A B23F fuel pump. Did FCP Groton sell me a part I don't need? Can I install it anyway? I'm assuming it would reside on the output side of the main fuel pump.
Here is the part in question: http://www.fcpgroton.com/product-exec/product_id/5143/nm/1981_1985_Volvo_240_Turbo_Fuel_Pump_Check_Valve/category_id/149
