I had spent about $100 on a nice head unit for the 240- and last night someone was nice enough to give me a new project- replace the driver's side door tumbler! They also permanently borrowed my head unit. I guess they didn't know how to get into the back because they left my amp and sub in the trunk. They also blew out my truck latch but it still unlocks with the power unlocker.

I was thinking of putting a factory radio back in but bypassing it and hooking up my XM and ipod directly into my amp. Has anyone else ever done this?

Also- please email me at jmboehm@gmail.com if you have a radio sitting around. i tossed mine when I replaced it and need a new unit. I would prefer that it doesn't work- I have no need to get local stations in the car.
