240 tire suggestions 200 1990

Just perused the archives for tire info, nothing up to date so I'm throwing my question out to our Brickhead community.....:)

My car is a 90 244 DL with 185/70-14 tires. I need 2 front tires. Looking for an inexpensive, but good all-round tire that can handle some snow (Southern New England) use. Any suggestions?

After reading Tire Rack reviews (and checking prices!) it looks like the Kumho KR21 and Pirelli P4 4 season are good buys for the money and can handle some snow. I have had both brands on my 240, but not these specific tires. Anybody have any experience with either of these?
