YES! The 93 heater valve is different 200 1993

I recently inquired on the board if anyone had any experience with a leaking heater valve on a 93 240. Many wrote back pointing out it's location above the throttle pedal. This is how the Bentley manual depicts it also. But the one on my 93 is quite different. There is obviously a leak here (seen in photo).
FCP does not mention this different valve either.
I'm not even sure how to remove the valve, as the other hose, which I assume goes to the heater core, is on the other sider of the valve, buried under the fan case.
Anyway, here it is, different from what we all think it should be.

Here is a shot of the heater valve on my 93 245 Classic.

This is taken from about the position of the driver's right foot, looking towards the right side of the car. You can see the vacuum resevoir on the right side of the photo.
