1984 rough idle. holes on inlet line between amm and throttle plate???? any replies 200 1984

would small holes, pretty small between air mass meter and throttle plate hose cause the rough idle/stall. at the same time i have one bad hose going to fuel evaporator. so if i just disconnect and plug those, would it affect anything(i see the rollover valve is in that circuit.
