Here's the story. Yesterday my daughter, learning to drive, pulled into the driveway. Just before stopping, she hit the gas instead of the brake lunging the car forward, then stomping the brake to stop. She put it in park, took the keys out, and we were happy to not have hit the house. I go out an hour later to go somewhere and the Volvo would not crank. Thinking it was the battery, because it was 7 years old, I replaced it. The car still will not turn over at all, but it does have power to the windows, radio and such. Any ideas on what the problem could be and if it was related to the surge/brake?
