out of control heater valve 200 1993

This past month the heater control valve on my 93 decided to stick on broast. When I pulled the side cover to make sure that the cable was indeed moving the lever on the valve I noticed that it looks different than on previous 240 models. I have a new valve for a 91, will it fit? or is the valve for the 93 unique to that model only?
