Good Morning Folks;
I posted a query the other day about aftermarket fuel pumps for a single pump Regina car. I am pleased to report that the Master Pump E8279 works perfectly. It is funny, if you enter the required information of the Advance Auto parts web site, in my case '92 740, 2.3 non turbo you will get the Carter P74006 that crosses to a Master Pump E3240. I tried this one and it does not make enough pressure, I suppose that it is for a twin pump Regina. As a point of curiosity I checked under the 740 Turbo and got a second set of recommendations, but not the E8279. I then entered E8279 in the part number search and it told me that it was a dedicated Volvo pump for early 90's 740's. Strange !! Anyway the car is running again and all appears to be well.
