sorry for all the questions,Bricksters....I have 4 RWD Volvos to maintain. Daughter's 92 740 is squealing really badly. Girling calipers front/ ATE rear. All 4 are rebuilts installed 6 months ago, new pads front and rear. The rear has anti-squeal shims available, the single-piston front doesn't.
I used anti-squeal grease on the outboard side of all the pads, but not enough, I guess.
Next step is to grease up the sliding pins and the corners of the calipers where the pads sit.
Any other suggestions?
Besides getting better earplugs??
