VOLVO 960 PARTS INTO A 940 DOORS-ETC..
I have a '95 945 Turbo Wagon (945) and access to an entire interior of a '95 965. The big differences are upgraded looks, power seats (better shape), tilt wheel, WORKING RADIO!!!..

Since I also have to R'n R the Pass door and fender...it seems that it would make sense to just hang all 4 doors from the 965 and save having to redo the interior panels also! (besides I like the interior and outside rub strips better on the 960)

Will it all fit properly???, What issues will I have on electrical for the 2 front seats (my 940 is manual….should I just change out the seats and mount them on the manual frames?). I'd like to completely change out the dash but my concern is the fuse placement is under the ashtray in the 940 and to the left side of the dash in the 960…YIPES how much headache will that be!!

I would like to change it all, since the 960 radio is totally different (and it works!) and I’d need the center stack to make it fit (my 940 radio gave up the ghost!!) I could just leave the dash alone if it won’t work…. It will have to be a full interior conversion as mine is tan and the 965 is gray. It should be fairly simple (a relative term ) to R'n R it all. I may consider leaving the headliner alone, just change the pillar trim.

I have decided to change out all doors and rear gate, (right pass and fender need replaced, and I'm going to get it all repainted anyway.)

4) RADIO: the radio has it's own issues!! when I turn it on the FM usually only give hissing...then after driving a while ( on my bumpy dirt road ) it usually comes on!! I hope that the interior swap will resolve this!! If not, would it be better to put in an auto rear wagon antenna (type that goes up and down) and rewire from the dammed imbedded one???
