84 244 turbo purchase ?? 200 1984

Hi all,
The volvo sickness continues...
I just met a guy at the lake fishing who noticed my nice 89 244 and actually yelled out to me in my canoe "Is that your Volvo?". After speking with him he has a 1984 244 turbo for sale. The engine in bad and he has another for it, but I do not know if its a turbo engine or not. I saw the car for sale 2 years ago and he hasn't done a thing with it. The car is very straight and clean, a couple of bubbles in the back door on drivers side. Bright silver paint, 151K miles, automatic, nice interior, nice virgos. He wants $450 for the car and the engine and he will deliver it to me as well. My question, is I donot know how long it has sat, so what issues could I anticipate in swapping the engine (easy) and getting it drivable (maybe a pain). I'll have to sell my 2 745ti's to get my wife on board with it though. Any quirks with the 84 version?
