B20 and B18 Engine's New Forum User HELLO! 120-130

Hello everyone,

My name is Michael LeCompte. I'm a new user here. First post.

I have two Volvo 122 wagons. One is a 65 which has a rebuilt longblock b20 in it. And a 66 with a locked up b18 in it. The b18 is complete.

I'd like to get the b18 running in the 66 first. To make sure the SU HS6 carbs are working properly. Then pull the carbs and dizzy out of the 66 and put them on the B20 in the 65 and fire it up for the first time.

I sprayed PB blaster into the cylinders tonite on the b18, hoping that the rings will unfreeze so I can crank the motor over. I'll keep trying and repeating this process until I have luck. :)

I've been looking into a weber DGAS 38/38 carb for the b20 but for now I'd like to keep the SU's to see if I can get the car to run properly. Aynone have any suggestions. I'm open ears!

-Michael LeCompte
