Just for fun - Ride Along in the '93 245 200 1993

I threw a video up to vimeo that my wife and I shot last weekend when I first got the 245. The exterior and interior look like museum pieces. The engine bay is really clean, given that the previous owner never cleaned it, but it needs to be wiped down by myself. I actually prefer the previous owners to NOT clean the engine so I know where it has been leaking.

In this case, it looks like it only needed a new oil cap gasket, I had a few in my parts bag from my Volvo 850 endeavours.

Over the weekend I put Mobil 1 in the rear end and I cleaned the IAC out. The IAC looked almost new with only a hint of carbon in the one side. It's really weird owning a 240 that isn't grungy or stubbornly resisting my efforts to make it run right.
