I have a Regina car and there is a code set for bad Oxy sensor. Measuring the sensor voltage gave super low readings, far outside of operating range.
Today, during an oil change, I looked at my exhaust. The downpipe has been replaced and the sensor looks shiny, like it has been replaced with it. It would be a little odd to have a newer sensor go, but it's possible the previous owners mechanic, not knowing the difference, could have used the wrong sensor, especially if they have the same connectors.
Also, how is the downpipe supposed to be mounted? Mine has a block with a threaded hole on it, but it s attached to something with a hose clamp and the block is not used.
